Great for new and advanced students
Aikido camp is a great way to get started in Aikido, because the intensive experience of daily training means that students are quickly able to learn the basics and gain confidence. We also have many campers who have trained with us for years, and during camp we offer opportunities for 1:1 mentoring and advanced skill training.
Experienced staff
Our team of camp counselors and junior teen counselors (many of whom have trained with us since they were children) are highly dedicated Aikido students. We love to share our skills and to help children develop, both as martial artists and as people.
Personal Development
Our camp focuses on developing a sense of personal responsibility. Campers learn to problem-solve conflict with the guidance of counselors and older campers. Campers and counselors work together to keep the dojo clean, and to create a safe and friendly environment in which to play, train, and grow.
Mixed Age Learning Environment
Our Aikido Camp community is like a small village where different ages learn and practice together. Our mixed-age learning culture is one of the things that truly sets us apart. Click here to read more about the benefits of mixed age learning.
